November Meeting – Annual Remembrance Memorial
November 14, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We will be holding our annual Memorial Event on Tuesday, November 14th at 7:00pm. If you have not previously attended, the format is different from our standard monthly meetings. This program includes a slide presentation of our lost loved ones, and a candle lighting to symbolize grief, courage, memories, love and hope. You should bring a framed photo (no larger than 8×10) to share during the event – we will be lighting votive candles and placing them in front of each photo. We will have music during the presentation and a dinner following the memorial, and this event is open to you and your family members. It is a special event for sharing our loved ones leading up to the holidays.
The Fort Worth Chapter Steering Committee will provide the meat for the dinner. We ask that everyone attending bring a side dish and/or dessert.
The slide presentation will include a photo of your child/grandchild/sibling along with their full name. If you would like to participate, please email one photo and include the following information in the email:
Your Name
Your Loved One’s Full Name
RSVP whether you can attend and include # of Attendees in your Group
Please title the email “NOVEMBER REMEMBRANCE MEMORIAL” to ensure we include everyone who wishes to submit a photo. You can send this information to one of the following email addresses NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 30TH to make sure your information is included in the program.
If you participated and sent a photo for last year’s program and would like to use the same photo, please email and let me know and include the name of your loved one in the response email.
The program will begin promptly at 7:00pm so please try to arrive early.
